When what once worked no longer does, it can feel unsettling. You may be capable, thoughtful, and used to managing on your own, yet lately it feels like you’re holding everything together rather than truly living. The strategies that once helped you succeed – pushing harder, staying composed, putting others first – now leave you feeling anxious, exhausted, or quietly disconnected from yourself.

Many of the people I work with are high-functioning and self-aware. From the outside, life may look “fine,” but internally there’s a sense that something is off. Perfectionism, people-pleasing, or a harsh inner critic can keep you stuck in cycles of self-doubt and burnout, even when you’re doing everything “right.” You might find yourself wondering why rest feels hard, why you’re so reactive or shut down, or why confidence feels fragile despite your accomplishments.

I work primarily with women who want to move beyond survival mode and reconnect with a more grounded, compassionate relationship with themselves. Therapy with me is collaborative, relational, and paced with care. Together, we’ll explore the patterns and protective strategies you’ve developed over time, honouring how they once helped you while gently challenging the ones that no longer serve you.

My approach integrates principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and parts-based work informed by IFS, alongside body-based practices. This means we’ll work with both your thoughts and your nervous system by building awareness, emotional flexibility, and the capacity to stay present with difficult internal experiences without being overwhelmed by them.

Rather than trying to “fix” yourself, our work focuses on cultivating self-trust, nervous system regulation, and self-compassion. Over time, many clients notice they feel less reactive and self-critical, more connected to their needs, and more able to make choices aligned with their values. Coming from a place of clarity, not pressure.

I aim to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and collaborative; a place where you don’t have to perform or hold it all together. One step at a time, we’ll slow things down and support a deeper reconnection with yourself, so your life can feel more sustainable, meaningful, and genuinely your own.
