You know you’re creative and full of ideas, so why does it feel so hard to follow through?

You’ve tried the planners, the productivity hacks, and the “just focus harder” advice. But your mind still bounces between a hundred tabs. You want to stay on track, feel calmer, and actually enjoy your life, but right now, you’re tired of playing catch-up.

Our goal at LIV Mental Wellness is to help you move from daily overwhelm and constant self-criticism to clarity, confidence, and ADHD systems that work for your brain.

Through ADHD therapy online, we support women who are ready to feel more in control of their focus, energy, and emotions. You’ll learn practical strategies that fit your life, not the other way around.

The Hidden Weight of ADHD

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) isn’t just about being ‘distracted.’ It can impact your work, your relationships, your self-esteem, and even how you see yourself. Over time, unmanaged ADHD can leave you feeling disorganized, overwhelmed, and frustrated. No matter how hard you try.

Does this sound familiar?

If these experiences resonate, know this:

You’re not alone – and you’re not broken. You’re a capable, resourceful person who simply needs tools designed for how your brain works.

How ADHD Therapy Can Help

ADHD therapy can help you understand your brain’s patterns, manage distractions, and regulate your nervous system. Treatment options may include individual ADHD therapy, group therapy, coaching, and, for some, medication prescribed by a doctor or nurse practitioner.

At LIV Mental Wellness, we offer trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming ADHD therapy that goes beyond “try harder” advice. Together, we’ll uncover the patterns keeping you stuck and build systems that truly support how your mind works.

Our virtual ADHD therapy sessions are available across Ontario, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan, giving you compassionate, expert care wherever you are.

Our approach includes:

Building practical, sustainable skills for planning, prioritizing, and following through – without relying on burnout or shame as motivators.

Understanding how the ADHD brain processes information, manages energy, and regulates emotions – and how to work with it instead of against it. This blog post goes into more detail about ADHD and the nervous system.

Tools to help you stay present when distractions pull you away.

Rewriting the harsh inner critic shaped by years of misunderstanding.

Anchoring your routines in what matters most, instead of getting pulled into distractions or less important tasks.

Online ADHD therapy isn’t about “fixing” you – it’s about helping you live fully as the person you truly are.

Frequently Asked Questions About ADHD Therapy

No. We can work with ADHD symptoms whether you have a formal diagnosis or not. We don’t provide diagnostic ADHD assessments, but we can help you explore your experiences, identify challenges, and connect you to resources for an assessment if you wish.

While everyone can be distracted sometimes, ADHD is a brain-based condition that affects focus, organization, emotional regulation, and time management consistently over time (rather than just every once and awhile).

Yes. ADHD often coexists with other conditions like anxiety and depression. Managing ADHD symptoms can help reduce stress, improve mood, and create a stronger foundation for mental wellness.

Yes. ADHD in women is often underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed because symptoms can present differently than the “hyperactive boy” stereotype. Women are more likely to experience inattentive symptoms – such as trouble focusing, forgetfulness, or feeling mentally scattered – and may mask struggles by overcompensating, people-pleasing, or becoming perfectionistic. This can lead to chronic stress, burnout, and feeling misunderstood. In therapy, we can explore how ADHD shows up for you and build strategies that support your unique needs.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to ADHD, but many people benefit from a blend of practical strategies and emotional support.

Research supports approaches like cognitive-behavioural strategies, mindfulness-based interventions, and skills-based work for executive functioning.

At LIV Mental Wellness, we tailor our approach to each individual, often integrating neurodiversity-affirming practices, nervous system education, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to address both the challenges and the strengths of the ADHD brain.

That’s completely okay. We offer a complimentary, no-pressure meet & greet so you can ask questions and see if working with our team feels like the right fit for you.
