From the Outside It Looks Fine. On the Inside, It Feels Heavy.

You’re getting through your days. You show up to work. You take care of responsibilities. You keep things moving. From the outside, it may seem like you’re doing okay.

Inside, it can feel very different. Your mind may not slow down. You might feel on edge, shut down, or emotionally flat. Small things feel heavier than they should. Rest doesn’t feel restorative.

Many women we work with in Regina are used to pushing past these signals. They stay busy, lower their expectations, or tell themselves to be grateful and keep going. Over time, this can lead to burnout, constant overthinking, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from yourself.

Therapy at LIV is a space to stop pushing and start listening to what’s actually going on beneath the surface.

Who We Help in Regina

We work with women who are capable, thoughtful, and often seen as the reliable one.

Many of our clients are professionals, caregivers, students, parents, or helpers who are used to putting others first. They often carry stress quietly and don’t feel comfortable asking for support.

In therapy, you don’t have to explain, perform, or stay strong. This is a space where you get to focus on yourself, understand your patterns, and build trust in your own feelings and needs.

How We Help

Therapy at LIV goes beyond talking things through and hoping time will fix them.

We help you understand why certain patterns formed and why they keep repeating, even when you’re self-aware. Together, we focus on creating change that actually shows up in your daily life.

In practice, this often looks like:

Together with your therapist, you’ll start building awareness and understanding of the patterns that keep you stuck – whether it’s overthinking, people-pleasing, or ignoring your own needs until you feel drained.

Therapy gives you practical strategies you can use in daily life, from calming spirals of worry to setting boundaries with more confidence.

Real healing goes deeper than surface fixes. We’ll work to shift the cycles that keep pulling you back, helping you create steadier, more sustainable ways of living.

We move at a pace that respects your limits and supports real progress, not just quick fixes.

Frequently Asked Questions About Therapy in Regina

Yes. Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for most concerns. The key is finding a therapist who feels like the right fit. Many of our clients tell us they find online therapy easier to stick with, since it removes commute time and scheduling stress.

You don’t need to be! Once you book a session, you’ll get a secure link to click – it opens right in your browser. Most clients say it feels no different than joining a Zoom call.

Absolutely. We use a secure, encrypted video platform that meets Canadian privacy standards. No one else has access to your sessions, and you can join from any private space where you feel comfortable.

No. Our therapists provide virtual sessions across Saskatoon and nearby areas like Lumsden, Indian Head, Weyburn, Moose Jaw and beyond.

As long as you live in Saskatchewan and have access to Wi-Fi, you can access therapy with us.

Most extended health plans in Saskatchewan cover Registered Psychotherapists. We recommend checking your plan details before starting to ensure you are covered for psychotherapy specifically, as some plans only cover social workers or psychologists. After each session, you’ll receive a receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

That’s totally okay! Our first step is always a free consultation – it gives you a chance to meet a therapist, ask questions, and see if it feels like a good fit before committing.
